Here at Stovax & Gazco, we love to keep up with the latest interior trends and ideas, and we’re loving PANTONE’s choices for 2021 – Ultimate Gray and Illuminating. We’ve put together some ideas for how to bring grey and yellow into your décor this year.
PANTONE describes the combination of these two very opposing colours as being designed to come together and support one another. The message they are sharing is that the union of the Ultimate Gray and bright pop of Illuminating yellow offer a story of strength and positivity – that things are going to get brighter.
To incorporate this same feeling into your living space, consider using Ultimate Gray on the walls to complement the subtlety of the colour. Create unity in the space by using Illuminating as a pop of bright colour on soft furnishings, such as in this room example below featuring our Ecodesign Ready Chesterfield 5 wood burning stove. Marrying the two colours in this way helps to amplify the union of the two Pantone Colours of the Year without either one outbalancing the other.
