With the arrival of the new year means that the new air quality and efficiency regulations of the Ecodesign directive have now come into effect. The Stovax Heating Group are proud to offer a wide range of Ecodesign Plus wood burning and multi-fuel stoves and fires. These appliances have all been designed, tested, and certified to not only meet, but in many cases exceed these strict new criteria, thanks to their cutting-edge combustion systems.

Key Information:
Featuring a contemporary exterior with curved door and large expansive viewing window, the stunning Stovax Futura 5 wood burning and multi-fuel stove prioritises spectacular flame visuals and high efficiency heat.
Suitable for both traditional and modern homes alike, Futura 5 stoves are available as both a dedicated wood burner as well as a multi-fuel model. All models in the range are DEFRA exempt for Smoke Control Areas as standard meaning they are suitable for use anywhere in the UK.
To maximise efficiency, Futura 5 stoves incorporate a state-of-the-art convector heat system and integrated heat shields to maximise the amount of heat flowing back into the room. This also benefits the installation requirements by allowing for lower distance to combustibles.

Offering both freestanding and built-in models, the Stovax Studio Air Wood burning fire range delivers contemporary aesthetics with a wide viewing window for uninterrupted flame views. State-of-the-art precision airflow combustion systems ensure each Studio Air model effortlessly exceeds Ecodesign standards. Studio Air wood burning fires are available in two sizes: the 1, or the larger 2 which offers an impressive 8.2kW heat output, perfectly suited for heating sizeable living rooms and open-plan spaces such as barn conversions.
For those living in less rural locations, all Studio Air wood burning fires are DEFRA Smoke Control Area exempt, so even the most urban of homes are able to make use of this specatcular wood burning fire.
To open up installation possibilities, there is an optional handle kit available which can be used for left or right door opening, depending on what’s best for your installation. Freestanding models also feature built-in heat shields for reduced distance to combustibles.

With a stunning view of the flames thanks to the wide viewing window, and a timeless and charming exterior, County 8 wood burning stoves are designed to suit both traditional and modern interiors. These stoves are DEFRA exempt as standard, making it suitable for use in Smoke Control Areas.

Combining traditional cast iron styling with a state-of-the-art convector heat flow system, the Stovax Huntingdon 30 wood burning and multi-fuel stove delivers both high efficiency heat and superb flame views.
Available as both a dedicated wood burner and multi-fuel stove, the latter features an innovative closable riddling grate that can be closed when burning wood to allow a bed of ash to form, increasing efficiency.
With a choice of clear door, or a tracery door with gothic detailing, the Huntingdon 30 is DEFRA exempt as standard making it suitable for use anywhere in the UK.

Featuring the same impressive 5kW heat output and flame visuals as the County 5, the Stovax County 5 Wide features a wide width and slimline depth that’s perfect for shallow fireplaces. With a fixed grate as standard, the County 5 Wide is designed to primarily burn wood, but with the option of being able to burn smokeless fuels if desired.
County stoves are designed to suit both traditional and modern homes alike, and feature timeless exteriors that bring a rustic chic vibe to the room or space they are installed in. A wide glass viewing window on the County 5 Wide offers an astounding flame view which is kept clear by powerful Airwash jets for uninterrupted enjoyment. This wide-format stove is also DEFRA exempt as standard for use in Smoke Control Areas, which means it can be used in towns and cities alike.
