Table of Contents:
Firstly, both Studio and Studio Air log burners feature a single air control with high setting, aiding easy lighting, refuelling, and adjustment of the primary air flow with no added tools. Both also feature a powerful airwash for clean uninterrupted flame visuals.
For a clean and tidy aesthetic, Studio wood burning fires benefit from a removable handle, maintaining the minimalist look of these cassette fires. Meanwhile, Studio Air wood burners feature a door which can be reversed for left or right opening using an optional reverse door hanging kit – ideal for when the stove is positioned near to an adjacent wall.
Studio Air wood burning fires are available in two sizes – the Studio Air 1 or the larger Studio Air 2. The former has a 5kW nominal heat output, whilst the latter offers 8.2kW. Both operate with an A rated energy efficiency class, thanks to their state-of-the-art combustion systems.
Studio fires meanwhile, are available in four sizes – the Studio 500 (5kW), Studio 1 (5kW), Studio 2 (8.5kW), and Studio 3 (12.6kW). All are rated A for energy efficiency.
Both ranges offer inset cassette fires and freestanding equivalents across all sizes, the latter combining wide panoramic flame visuals with the stand-alone nature of a wood burning stove.
Whether it’s a Studio or Studio Air, the beauty of the freestanding models is in their ability to be mounted on a freestanding bench, which elevates the ambience to all new heights – in the literal sense.
Made of high-quality steel, these benches are available in a range of sizes with differing widths and heights. Depending on the size of Studio fire and bench, the fire can be positioned centrally, or offset to one side for more of a bespoke look.
The availability of an optional dedicated external air kit allows the air needed for combustion to come directly from outside your building rather than through a vent into the room. This potentially eliminates draughts and enhances overall heating efficiency.
Another option available to cassette fires across both ranges, is a warm air ducting kit, which allows you to heat up to two other living spaces.
Studio Air Freestanding fires benefit from integrated heat shields for lower distance to combustible clearances.
Studio wood burning fires come equipped with a stylish log bar, while Studio Air models feature uninterrupted flame views thanks to a lower fuel bed.
Both ranges offer a variety of frames which can be chosen for the inset models, to tailor the look of the final install to your décor. Studio cassette wood burning fires can be installed with a frameless Edge, or a choice of stylish frames including the Edge+, Profil, Bauhaus, Steel, or Steel XS.
Meanwhile, in addition to the Edge, Edge+, and Profil, Studio Air cassette fires offer an added option – the Icon XS. This contemporary option surrounds the fire, making a bold statement and giving the impression of an even larger format wood burning fire, whichever size you choose. In addition, the Profil frame is available as a 4 sided or 3 sided frame, which allows Studio Air fires to be hearth-mounted.
The Studio Air range has another option for adding designer flair to your installation. Each fire in the range offers the ability to choose from Black, Storm Grey or White for the colour of the decorative trim around the door.
If you love the landscape aesthetic and enticing flame views of the Studio Inset range, but are looking for a gas option, look no further than the Gazco Studio Gas Fire range. Designed to offer the same great design and level of customisation as the wood burning range, Studio Gas fires are available in multiple sizes, as well as slimline and double sided versions. Choose from different fuel-effects, linings and frames to create a unique contemporary centrepiece, and enjoy the convenience of on-demand heat from the touch of a button.
