Stovax have created a wide range of inspired wood mantels to complement the large collection of wood burning & gas stoves, fires and fireplaces that are available.
Once your decision has been made to install either a wood burning stove, gas stove, a gas inset fire or even a traditional classic fireplace from Stovax or Gazco, why not extend your styling options to include one of 16 impressive wood mantels from Stovax?
Utilising high quality timbers sourced from renewable plantations, each is chosen for its blemish free and superior grains – and to prevent any warping or cracking due to the close range heat from your wood burning stove or gas fire, all the timber has been thoroughly kiln dried.Available in a choice of 4 natural timbers including Oak & Pine, each mantel is individually worked on by skilled craftsmen to ensure timber colours are even and, by applying lacquer or wax, that the finest finish is achieved. Choices of either veneered or plain finishes are also available on additional MDF manufactured wood mantels to achieve a smoother finished look.
Whether to enhance your inglenook for your wood burning or gas stove or to exquisitely finish your open fireplace in readiness for an inset fire or traditional classic fireplace, there is a style of wood mantel perfect for your home wherever it may be installed.
A further collection of 6 classic stone mantels, crafted from Antique White Marble or Limestone, is also available from Stovax for a more grand and majestic finish.

Can I fit a Gazco Riva2 800 balanced flue gas fire in a Stovax wooden mantel with granite hearth and slips?
We do not recommend using Stovax wood mantels for the Riva2 800 model, even with slip sets. The heat output from the fire would be a hazard as it would be too close to the combustible material of the mantel. We do recommend the use of the Stovax range of stone mantels. For more info, please view our Riva2 800 Stone Mantels page: https://www.stovax.com/stove-fire/riva2-800-gas-fires/riva2-800-stone-mantels/, or speak with your local retailer who you can find using this link: https://www.stovax.com/information/find-a-retailer/. Many thanks.
