Elise Inset Fires – Designed For Our Environment

A wood burning stove or fire can really make a room, giving it a wonderful focal point, a homely atmosphere and a sustainable and carbon neutral source of heating. But is it as environmentally friendly as it could be?

A wood burning stove or fire can really make a room, giving it a wonderful focal point, a homely atmosphere and a sustainable and carbon neutral source of heating. But is it as environmentally friendly as it could be?

Released this year, the Stovax range of Elise wood burning and multi-fuel inset fires is leading the way in the new EU regulations targeting more environmentally friendly burning for the future.

Coming into force in 2022, the EcoDesign regulations are there to ensure wood burning and multi-fuel appliances are friendly both to the environment and our health. This is where the Elise range really comes into its own.

Exceeding EcoDesign

In making the decision to create the cleaner, greener and more efficient Elise inset fire range, Stovax have not only met the EcoDesign minimum targets, but have exceeded them across the board.

The results of our development for the Elise range ensure that emissions are significantly reduced for carbon monoxide (CO), nitrous oxide (NOx), organic gaseous compounds (OGC) and particulate matter (PM), meaning the EcoDesign targets are surpassed in every sector.

Some of the best news for homeowners is the efficiency of the Elise range. Depending on model, efficiency can be as high as an impressive 83%, which is over 10% better than the EcoDesign minimum target set out in the new regulations.

All this is food for thought when you’re looking to install any solid fuel stove or fire and with Stovax getting well ahead of the game, the future is looking very green and efficient for both consumers and the environment.
