Shortlisted for Best Stove at Build It Awards 2019

We are thrilled to announce that the Stovax Heating Group has been shortlisted with four products as ‘Best Stove’ in the Build It Awards 2019.

This year, it’s Build It’s 30th birthday, and we’re delighted to have been shortlisted with several products in the Best Stove category on such a special milestone for the renowned and prestigious magazine. We will be attending the awards ceremony with other manufacturers, architects, and key figures in the self-build industry, and are proud to also sponsor the ‘Best Oak Frame Home’ award category.

The products that we have been shortlisted for the Best Stove category this year are:

Chesterfield wood burning and multi-fuel stove range, from Stovax

The traditional-styled Chesterfield stove is available in two sizes: the 5, and the 5 Wide. The subtle curved front adds a contemporary elegance that makes this stove perfect for renovators that enjoy a touch of decadence, yet still want a modern finish. All Chesterfield models easily meet requirements for use in DEFRA smoke control zones, and most models are also verified as Ecodesign Ready. Find out more about the Chesterfield here.

Loft gas stove, from Gazco

The Loft is a gas stove with not only high efficiency, but also versatile styling options for all kinds of contemporary self-builds and renovations. With so many gas log burner options out there for self-builders, it’s hard to find something that stands out from the crowd. Enter the Loft gas stove – tall, striking, and available in six different sizing formats. The flames of this stove dance around hand painted realistic logs, making for a very authentic-looking display that can be controlled with a programmable thermostatic handset. Find out more about the Loft gas stove here.

Vogue Midi T Electric stove, from Gazco – coming soon to retail!

The Vogue Midi T electric stove is an extension to the existing Vogue electric range. It brings an expanded view of the flames, and a taller aesthetic with side windows. This electric stove simply requires connection to the mains to function. This means the stove can simply be unboxed, and positioned wherever desired. Self-builders and renovators can of course go another step further, and install within a mantel to enhance the overall look, or even add faux flue pipe to enhance the effect. This stove is coming soon to retail – keep an eye on our social media for future updates.

ME wood burning stove, from Nordpeis

The ME wood burner from Nordpeis brings an acutely minimalist design that provides the unexpected for the self-builder that wants to stand out and be a little different with a statement stove. From pedestals to log stores, to benches and even the option to wall-mount or hang from the ceiling, the ME offers a host of mounting options for every interior. This stove burns with such low emissions it has been verified as SIA Ecodesign Ready. Find out more about the ME wood burning stove here.

Thank you for your email. There is a heaterless Skope/eReflex that was developed for the Republic of Ireland but that has no heater. All electric fires with heaters that we make use a fan to dissipate the heat.
