Stovax has a wide range of stoves that are suitable for a 12mm hearth installation. These stoves have been tested to ensure that they do not increase the temperature of the hearth surface by more than 65°C above the ambient room temperature during use. This means that that they can simply be installed straight onto a 12mm thick non-combustible superimposed hearth, without the need of a constructional hearth.
