Our Stovax Huntingdon range has long been a favourite for those who appreciate a log burner with a classic aesthetic, with the benefits of modern technology. Comprising three advanced solid fuel stoves – Huntingdon 20, 30, and 40 – this range combines traditional styling with high efficiency and impressive heat output. Here’s why it stands out:
With efficiencies reaching up to 82.7% on the Huntingdon 30 model, this range surpasses the Ecodesign requirement of 72.3%, making it an eco-conscious choice for homeowners.
Whether you’re seeking a multi-fuel or wood burning stove, the Huntingdon range offers flexibility to suit your needs, with sizes perfect for both small and large living spaces.
Equipped with Cleanburn systems and a Convector Heat Flow System, these stoves deliver maximum heat with minimal energy loss, ensuring even warmth throughout the home.
The Stovax Huntingdon wood burning stove range is DEFRA exempt for use in Smoke Control Areas. This makes these stoves perfect for city living, providing a sustainable heating solution with low particulate emissions.
These log burners are engineered with integrated heat shields, which reduces the distance needed between the stove and combustible materials. This expands placement options within a home and improves safety while doing so. Plus, having lower clearance to combustibles is particularly advantageous as it broadens aesthetic and practical installation possibilities.
The Integrated External Air Connection means these wood stoves are ready to draw combustion air directly from outside, without the need for an additional kit. This feature prevents cold draughts and eliminates the need for additional room ventilation.
Stovax Huntingdon 20 and 30 wood-burning stoves can also be installed on a 12mm decorative hearth. This means that the stoves do not significantly raise the temperature of the floor beneath them – staying below 100°C. As a result, you can use more decorative materials for the hearth, such as slate, tiles, or granite, instead of the typical approximately 125mm thick concrete constructional hearth. This adaptation simplifies the building process, reducing the labour and costs associated with more extensive hearth constructions.
What’s more, a 12mm hearth can also assist with complications encountered in some homes, such as combustible or floating flooring – such as Victorian timber floors.
Our Stovax Studio wood-burning stove and inset fire collection offers versatility and high performance, with a variety of sizes to suit a host of interiors. From the compact Studio 500 wood burning fire and the large format Studio 3 wood-burning stove, this range is tailored to fit any space. Here’s what makes the Studio range a top contender:
All Studio wood stove and inset fires meet the stringent energy and emission standards required for modern homes, achieving ratings of A or A+ and producing a fraction of the permitted particulate matter emissions.
The various sizes mean that the Stovax Studio wood-burning stove range can suit many different home requirements. Studio 500 models, for example are designed to fit standard 22″ British fireplace openings, presenting an excellent heating solution for renovators in particular.
Inset wood burning fire versions also feature ports for fitting an optional warm air ducting kit, to heat up to two adjacent rooms. This makes the Stovax Studio range an efficient, multi-purpose solution for self-builders wanting to optimise energy use across the home. The Studio 3 offers four ports, which allows you two add two kits if required, providing heat for up to four additional rooms!
With the Studio inset collection, you can choose from a range of contemporary frames or opt for a frameless look with the Edge/Edge+ Kits for a sleek, modern aesthetic. Freestanding models are also compatible with steel benches, offering even more design flexibility and presence.
