With Christmas fast approaching, many of us will be decorating our homes in the next few weeks. Here at Stovax, we have gathered our creative team for some advice on how to create a fiery focal point this festive season.
Using some of our fantastic Christmas images, we’ve put together a few ideas to help you dress your fireplace:
Try using festive wooden letters to spell out words such as ‘Noel’, ‘Merry Christmas’ or ‘Season’s Greetings’ in bold colours and place it on top of your mantel. A recent example is our gorgeous Huntingdon 30 wood burning and multi-fuel stove, showing ‘NOEL’ in red along our beautiful Grey Pembroke mantel.
To re-create our most recent Christmas set, you can visit our Pinterest board, “Create the Huntingdon 30 Christmas look”.
Decorating the house with fresh greenery is one of the oldest winter traditions and you can embellish your home by using a festive garland of fresh foliage and berries to help maintain this tradition. For inspiration, try adopting the decor used on our Stockton 5 Christmas set, the beautiful garland placed above the mantelpiece provides an outstanding backdrop for a traditional Christmas look.
Use minimalist décor to create a dramatic impact.
Our eye pleasing Gazco Riva2 7502HL Edge complemented by our stunning Cavendish Bolection stone mantel Christmas set shows how to utilise minimalist decor across a mantelpiece. Not only do the silver ornaments add sophistication and elegance, it also creates an eye-catching display especially teamed with a festive star.
This particular image showing our Decorative Arched Insert focuses on the minimalist theme. Teamed with several candles in a lovely rustic finish, our Victorian corbel mantelpiece is dressed in a colour scheme of whites, off whites and silver garlands and ornaments. The silver glass candle holders add a touch of cool glamour to your home – perfect for those Christmas candle-lit dinners and late-night party gatherings.
We advise that you take extra care and note the required distance between your stove and any combustible materials, so please visit our distance to combustible page for further information.
