After a house fire, Sandy and John began a series of renovations on their home in Eastham Village on the Wirral, including a total redesign of their living space.

Tell us a bit about how the project started…
The project started unfortunately after a recent house fire! The result is that of an unfortunate sequence of events. It’s been a tough few months with renovation works to the home but the end result is simply stunning!
Q: Were you always keen to have a wood burner in your home?
A: We have always been fascinated by log burning stoves. The authenticity and hypnotic draw to them is mesmerising! This fire’s warmth is second to none.
Q: What stove did you choose in the end?
A: We chose the Stovax Studio 1. Easy to use, it has a sleek, contemporary look and is virtually maintenance-free.
Q: How did you go about finding your stove?
A: We found our perfect stove by visiting a local show room (Amberglow Cheshire Oaks)
As soon as we saw it, we knew it was the one – we wanted to feel a real fire’s warmth and my goodness, you really can feel it! We can highly recommend this beautiful stove!

Thanks for all the sofa love on yesterday’s post! 💕 I was a bit nervous about its arrival as we had ordered it online without ever seeing it but I just love it and it’s really nice to have a bit of colour for once!
