Tell us a bit more about your garden room project and your interior style.
Our Garden room is a fully bespoke design and features a Lounge and a bar and an open outside area, the lounge is a space where I can listen to my record collection which consists of 4000 records.
The style is Tribal as I wanted the room to feel completely different from our house, and a good friend of us owns an aunty Tribal art shop in London, and it compliments the tropical garden look and feel.
Why is it important to have a stove or fire in your garden room?
We wanted to create a cabin vibe ambience, we wanted the room to have the feel of a cabin, and we love the light the stove gives off. I also like the convenience and quickness, as unlike a home we are not in there all day and night, so I love how quickly it can get to ambient room temperature.
The biggest benefit is that we can be in the room and appreciate our garden all year round. There is nothing better than having the fire on and the bifold doors open and still be in the garden in the Autumn, Winter and Spring months when traditionally you would not be in the garden.
Why did you choose the Gazco Vogue Midi T electric stove?
Stovax & Gazco are our partners and we have a simple business philosophy that if we are selling a product then it has to be tested thoroughly. If it’s good enough to be in our homes then it’s good enough to be sold and recommended to our clients.
Where did you get the fire installed in your garden room, and why that location?
I chose to have the stove installed near the door so I could sit near it and still have a view into the garden.

What was the greatest challenge or consideration when constructing your garden room?
None, that’s what we do for our business!
