Tell us about your home? Why did you choose a new build?
We have a Taylor Wimpey, Oakford home which has 4 bedrooms and is a great space for a growing family. My partner works for Taylor Wimpey so when this home in the perfect area came up we jumped at the chance of purchasing it. Over the past 3 years we have really worked hard to make this house the perfect home.
What do you love most about your home?
I love the spacious lay out of the floor plan. We have a good sized living area, kitchen and lots of storage, as well as further opportunities to expand in the future.
What is your favourite feature?
My favourite feature is my recently decorated lounge which we purchased our new electric fire for. We had the walls plastered to fit perfectly around television and fire, and mirror walls either side to complete. It is the perfect feature wall adding some glam to our home.
What drew you to our Gazco Radiance 135R electric fire?
I wanted something modern and glamorous looking to match out interior and the Gazco Radiance 135R was perfect. It’s a great size and fitted perfectly underneath our television for the perfect look.
What is your advice to anyone looking to buy a new home and selecting a stove or fire ?
It is a good idea to think ahead if wanting to purchase a fire and find out if the builders can prepare the area beforehand to create the perfect space for your new fire. It is a good idea to plaster the walls of it is needed before moving in to avoid extra dust and dirt. Fires can really change a room, bringing a focal point and create an amazing, cosy atmosphere especially for entertaining.
Why did you choose your retailer?
I follow Bell of Northampton on Instagram (@bell_northampton)
and each time a new fire pops up I’m immediately drawn. I’ve seen a few different fires from the Gazco range and researched which one would be best suited in our home. I contacted bell and their customer service was really good and communicated throughout the whole purchasing process.
