After spotting Laura’s home on Instagram, we got in touch to find out more about her home style and why she chose a Stovax Studio 1 wood burner.

Tell us a bit about your personal style.
I would describe our personal style as minimal & modern. We like clean, crisp lines and never stray too far from a simple monochrome palette, adding a touch of colour with feature walls. Materials we like to use include metal, glass & steel.
Which fire did you go for and why?
We chose the Stovax Studio 1 because we wanted a sleek modern log fire that could be inset to complement the design of our room. With its landscape door and minimal edge frame, the Studio 1 was perfect for our wider chimney breast.
Had you always wanted a log burner in your home?
Yes, we had but as we didn’t want a traditional log burner initially our search was challenging until we came across the Studio range of modern inset fires which ticked all our boxes.
What’s the next project in your home?
We are nearing completion of our current bathroom renovation project and are really happy with the results, next up is to create a home office/dressing room, then we’re due a well-earned rest!
