New Studio 1, 2 & 3 Ecodesign Ready Wood Burning Fires

New Studio 1, 2 & 3 Ecodesign Ready Wood Burning Fires

Stovax Studio Ecodesign Ready fires balance extraordinary presence with high efficiency heating performance. Designed to offer the ultimate in wood burning flame visuals and controllability, this peerless range of contemporary fires will add gravity and style to your interior. Now Ecodesign Ready, they offer a low emission heating solution that surpasses forthcoming air quality requirements.

Now Ecodesign Ready

Studio 1, 2 and 3 Cassette and Freestanding fires have been engineered to pass new Ecodesign emission and heating efficiency regulations, which will be introduced in 2022. These tough new standards aim to improve air quality by limiting the level of permitted emissions from wood burning products.

As a leading manufacturer, we tasked our Research & Development teams to design Ecodesign wood burning and multi-fuel products years ahead of many stove and fire manufacturers. Back in 2015, we launched our first Ecodesign Ready range, the Elise, seven years ahead of the forthcoming  regulations. Fast forward to today, and our Studio 1, 2 and 3 Cassette and Freestanding wood burning fires join the largest range of Ecodesign Ready stoves and fires in the UK and Ireland – something we’re very proud of.

High Efficiency Heating

Designed to burn with high thermal efficiency, Stovax Studio wood burning fires minimise the loss of heat energy during combustion, resulting in more heat delivery into the room and less going up the chimney. This is achieved by introducing preheated, secondary air into the firebox to burn the excess hydrocarbons in the smoke. Airwash airflow also helps keep the window clean, allowing you to enjoy the flames to the full.

Looking for Hole-in-the-wall Focal Point?

Studio Inset wood burning fires fit flush to the wall for a stylish, integrated installation. Each Studio comes standard as an Edge, which allows your interior to frame the fire for a breath-taking hole-in-the-wall focal point. These elegant fires can also be enhanced with a range of framing options including the Verve, Profil and Glass, which each add additional presence.

A Freestanding Centrepiece

The cutting-edge of contemporary stove design, Studio Freestanding wood burning fires are in a class of their own. These landscape stoves feature all the firebox characteristics of their cassette counterparts in a stunning freestanding format. These stylish stoves can be enhanced with our range of Stove Benches, which raise the fire up for a more prominent focal point.

A range of versatile installation options

The Studio fire range offers a host of options for added versatility. To minimise internal drafts, these advanced fires can be optionally installed with a dedicated external air supply, so that they draw air from the exterior of the property instead of the room. In addition, Cassette fire heating performance can be enhanced with a fan assisted convection kit that helps circulate combustion air for increased burning efficiency, as well as a warm air ducting kit for multi-room heating.

Hello. I’m interested in the Studio 3 and am located in the USA. Do you have dealers in the US? If not, do you know of another manufacturer that produces a similar design?

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

    • Darcy Hyland says:

      Good Morning Scott,
Thank you for taking the time to send us a message.

I’m afraid we do not sell within the US.

Apologies we couldn’t be of any further help,
      Darcy

    • Chris Connick says:

Hi Wayne, thanks for your comment. Spare parts for this model can be purchased via our official spare parts website – https://www.stovaxspares.com
A list of part numbers can usually be found in the back of your manual, and you’ll need to confirm your serial number before placing an order – this can be found on the appliance data plate.
      Many thanks, Chris

  4. Dee says:

Hi, Can you wall mount a TV above a log burner, such as the one you have pictured, with a dark grey tile finish? Thanks in advance for your advice.

    • Chris Connick says:

Hi Dee, thanks for your comment. We don’t recommend mounting a TV above a log burner as the heat will damage the TV.
      Best wishes, Chris

  5. Lisa says:

Hi there, I am looking at purchasing a 2nd hand studio 2 which has been used a freestanding set up. Am I correct in thinking the same model can also be used as a cassette inbuilt with a different fascia attached? Thank you 🙂

    • Chris Connick says:

Hi Lisa, thanks for your comment. Freestanding and Cassette models are two seperate fires and the freestanding model cannot be inset into the wall or vice versa.
      Best wishes, Chris

Hi. I have just purchased a studio 2 wood burning inset stove. It has not been delivered yet. I just wondered if you can confirm, have the dimentions of the studio 2 changed. I was expecting the dimentions to be 950x440x350 but when I enter the model no into google it comes up as 745x497x350. This is much smaller than what I was expecting as I installed one a few years back for family member and I’m hoping it will be the same size
