We live in a bungalow with a conventional flue and would like to fit one of your gas stoves.
We have noticed that the efficiency of the balanced flue fires is better than the conventional fires so is it possible to fit a balanced flue up a conventional chimney.

    • Alex says:

You can fit a Balanced flue inside a chimney if you choose a Riva gas fire but best to speak with your retailer to see which appliance will fit and if possible to use a flue renovation kit.

We live in a listed II building wth original small fireplace and long brick flue +/- 10m. The fireplace has been removed and the chimney swept. I would like to install a gas fire, is this possible with or without a liner?
