10 Reasons to buy a Stovax Cleanburn Wood burning stove

We've put together a list of the top 10 reasons a Stovax Cleanburn wood burning stove will benefit you and your home!

  1. Providing efficient heating, they use no electricity and will still work in an emergency or a power cut.
  2. Energy bills keep increasing, so a Stovax Cleanburn stove helps you cut down on the central heating and save £££££s as logs are the cheapest form of heating fuel and can even be available for free.
  3. The range of choice available is extensive and there is a stove perfect for your home, from the most traditional to the most contemporary Grand Design.
  4. Dry wood (20% moisture content) is also the greenest, most sustainable and renewable form of heating fuel.
  5. Stovax Cleanburn wood burning stoves are very efficient and use up to 80% less fuel than an open fire to give you the same amount of heat.
  6. Stovax Cleanburn wood burning stoves also emit over 80% fewer emissions than an open fire.
  7. You can heat with wood using DEFRA-approved stoves in UK Smoke Control Areas so this is leading more people in urban areas to warm to wood burning!
  8. Wood warms you four times; you get warm from shifting logs into your wood store, warm from chopping the logs, warm from moving them inside when they are dry enough to burn and warm from the heat when they burn.
  9. A Stovax stove makes a far better focal point in your lounge than your TV and emits less carbon!
  10. Warming with the radiant heat from a Stovax Cleanburn Stove means that you are releasing summer sunshine on a winter’s day!

We live at NN3 7HU. Are we allowed to install one of your fires where we live? We apparently love to have a real fire if possible.

    Hi,
Can you please advise if it’s a big difference in fitting a Multifuel or a log burner. I am leaning towards Multifuel because of ease to clean the ash out with the pan. Will I save a lot on log usage by having it on ash. Also the room the fire will be sitting in is 4.6 x 4.1 x 2.7 which leads to a secondary room of 5.5 x 4.1 x 2.4 all metres. I am currently looking to fit a Stockton 8 Multifuel or would a Stockton 11 be more suitable.

    Regards Ian

      Dear Ian,

Thank you for your message. I advise that you consult with a fully qualified HETAS engineer in the requirements of the type and size of stove you require for that specific room. Sadly, we can not provide a surveying service as we are a manufacturer.

Please can you tell me is Riva F40 Freestanding inline with the ECO policy for 2022

  5. Sheena says:

Is the Stovax Stockton 3 compliant with ECO policy for 2022? I’m very concerned about recent reports of log burning being a source of particle pollution. I’m in London and I hope not to have to lose my stove. Thanks
