Export Customer Services Advisor (French Speaking)
Established in 1981, the Stovax Group
(comprising Stovax and Gazco) designs, manufactures and distributes
high quality stoves, fireplaces and cookers to more than 40

organically through designing and developing its own products which
are at the mid to upper sector of the market.

and has a proven record of developing and promoting staff.
The Group continues to invest not only in a continuous new product
programme but also in structured training (both internal and
external) for its staff.
Due to continued expansion of the Group, which
is in strong financial health, the Group is looking for a number of
positions. The common requirement for people interested in

and customer satisfaction.
Gazco designs, manufactures and distributes all
decorative fuel effect gas, oil and electric fireplaces and
Stovax designs, manufactures and distributes
solid fuel stoves, fireplaces, mantels and associated flue systems
and accessories. Based in Exeter, Stovax and Gazco are the
market leaders in its product sectors and one of the largest
fireplace companies in Europe.
Reporting to the Export Customer Services
Manager this role will be working with the Export Customer Service
team, to deliver excellent Customer Service in line with Company
guidelines, legislation and standards.
Responsible for looking after our French
Customers, including; the prompt, accurate handling of customer
calls, including provision of technical information, availability,
shipping details and pricing.
Responsible for providing a timely accurate
response to customer emails and faxes.
Responsible for the accurate imputing of orders,
freight and shipping data.
Responsible for the production of delivery
notes, including liaison with manufacturing or despatch to ensure
appropriate products are manufactured / despatched for appropriate
countries / certification.
Responsible for liaising with the company’s
freight department to ensure cost effective methods of shipping and
forwarding are used.
Responsible for ensuring all documentation is
collated for external audit, including invoices, proof of delivery,
shipping documentation, certification of origin and VAT
Responsible for ensuring all export
documentation is complete and collated for internal audits.
Responsible for liaison with credit control over
credit stops and credit enquires.
Responsible for ensuring legal understanding of
CE certification, export and customs regulations remains up to
Ensure all information given is within the
agreed company framework, referring queries and issues to Technical
Customer Services or other internal departments, where
Provide feedback to internal departments such as
Marketing, Purchasing, R&D and Production.
Log customer issues onto CRM system, detailing
all communication to the customers.
Fluent French Speaker (essential)
Experience of working in an export role is
desirable, although not essential.
Proven excellent Customer Service skills.
Excellent confident verbal communication
Numerate with accurate attention to detail,
including ability to accurately enter data.
Knowledge of intermediate excel, internet and
Ability to work in a calm, methodical way.
