Art Nouveau Tiled Fireplace Fronts

Like the Stovax Victorian tiled fireplace front, the Art Nouveau fronts have been developed by Stovax to suit the 22″ high and 16″ wide (560 x 405mm) chimney opening for a modern home. Accordingly, this fireplace version retains all the features of a full insert, richly detailed castings, choice of tiles and finishes as well as brass hood option – but can be installed against the chimney breast using a mantel with a 3″ (75mm) rebate.

There are two versions of the Art Nouveau front – one for a gas fire and for use with solid fuels. The latter also has the option of a tapered fire grate.

Fireplace Fronts

For homeowners who wish to reduce, obscure and embellish their larger chimney opening, the Stovax cast front is an ideal option. Properties that were built in the late 1920s were most likely to have a 22" high x 16" wide chimney opening with a Milner tapered firebrick. Stovax developed tiled fronts to slot into these types of fireplace openings. The tiles were even positioned at a slight angle to maintain the authentic look. These fireplace fronts can also be teamed up with Stovax's wood and stone mantels.
