BATTERY REMOVAL TO DECOMMISSION OPEN STUDIO CONVENTIONAL FLUE

Studio
  • 1.1 Accessing Studio 1 batteries
  • To remove the tray of pebbles:

    Slide up the small handle on the left of the tray. Use this handle and the pilot cone on the right to lift tray clear, diagram 1
  • remove tray of pebbles
  • Place the tray on a flat surface. The battery pack is located inside a metal bracket at the front of the compartment, diagram 2

  • Lift the battery holder out vertically
  • 1.2 Accessing Studio 2 & 3 batteries
  • To lift the tray of pebbles at one end:
  • Slide up the small handle on the left of the tray, diagram 3
  • Raise the tray upwards until it locks into position. The battery pack is inside a metal bracket at the front of the compartment, diagram 3
  • Lift the battery holder out vertically
  • remove the tray of pebble
  • 1.3 Replacing batteries for all Studio Fires
  • Depress the arrow on top of the plastic holder and slide the lid off in the direction of the arrow, diagram 4
  • Remove battery holder by sliding outwards
  • 1.4 Remove batteries
  • 1.5 Replace lid (if fitted) and fit the sticker provided onto the battery holder to prevent anyone replacing the batteries until authorised
  • 1.6 Replacing the Burner Trays
  • Studio 1 model:
  • Replace the tray of pebbles, ensuring the tray is resting flat and secure in its fittings
  • Smooth the pebbles flat if they have been disturbed
  • TAKE CARE NOT TO SPILL PEBBLES INTO THE PILOT AREA
  • Studio 2 & 3 models:
  • Release the catch and lower the burner tray using the small handle on the left diagram 5
  • Replace the pebble tray
  • Smooth the pebbles flat if they have been disturbed
