BATTERY REMOVAL TO DECOMMISSION OPEN STUDIO CONVENTIONAL FLUE

Accessing Studio 1 batteries
To remove the tray of pebbles:
Slide up the small handle on the left of the tray. Use this handle and the pilot cone on the right to lift tray clear,

Place the tray on a flat surface. The battery pack is located inside a metal bracket at the front of the compartment,

Lift the battery holder out vertically

Accessing Studio 2 & 3 batteries
To lift the tray of pebbles at one end:
Slide up the small handle on the left of the tray,

Raise the tray upwards until it locks into position. The battery pack is inside a metal bracket at the front of the compartment,

Lift the battery holder out vertically

Replacing batteries for all Studio Fires
Depress the arrow on top of the plastic holder and slide the lid off in the direction of the arrow,

Remove batteries

Replace lid (if fitted) and fit the sticker provided onto the battery holder to prevent anyone replacing the batteries until authorised

Replacing the Burner Trays
Studio 1 model:
Replace the tray of pebbles, ensuring the tray is resting flat and secure in its fittings
Smooth the pebbles flat if they have been disturbed
TAKE CARE NOT TO SPILL PEBBLES INTO THE PILOT AREA
Studio 2 & 3 models:
Release the catch and lower the burner tray using the small handle on the left
