BATTERY REMOVAL TO DECOMMISSION OPEN LINEA BALANCED FLUE

Linea
  • 1.1 If the Linea is fitted with a Designio front, access to the batteries can be achieved by simply dropping the lower front access cover
  • drop the lower front access cover
  • 1.2 Remove the battery holder by sliding outwards, diagram 2
  • remove the battery holder
  • 1.3 Open the battery holder. Slide lid across (if fitted), diagram 3

  • 1.4 Remove batteries
  • 1.5 Replace lid (if fitted) and fit the sticker provided onto the battery holder to prevent anyone replacing the batteries until authorised
  • 1.6 Push the battery holder back into its location and close the door by following these instructions in reverse
  • 2.1 If the Linea is fitted with a Plano or Vetro front, access to the batteries can be achieved through the access hole in the casing below the unit. This is located on the left hand side, diagram 4
  • 2.2 Using fingers, locate the plastic battery holder. Pull towards you and the holder will drop down through the access hole

  • 2.3 Open battery holder. Depress the arrow on top of the plastic holder and slide the lid off (if fitted) in the direction of the arrow diagram 5

  • 2.4 Remove batteries
  • 2.5 Replace lid (if fitted) and fit the sticker provided onto the battery holder to prevent anyone replacing the batteries until authorised
  • 2.6 Push the battery holder back into its location and close the door by following these instructions in reverse
